April 26, 2012 -Members from Stations 2 & 4 took part in a live fire demonstration held by MSA and Susquehanna Fire Equipment at the Schuylkill County Fire School. Representatives from MSA and Susquehanna Fire Equipment demonstrated different models and new features of their current SCBA and Thermal Imagery Camera product lines. Fire personnel were then given the opportunity to enter a building containing live fire to demo the equipment and products. The demonstration was also a great learning opportunity and review on the effects of fire and thermal layers inside of a burning building. The SHFD would like to thank Susquehanna Fire Equipment and MSA for a great experience.
