November 22, 2008- At 18:12 Station 4 was dispatched to assist District 41 (Cressona) on a vehicle fire at the intersection of Tioga and Alcoa Streets, Cressona Boro.
Chief 41 (Mansell) arrived on scene to find a fully involved pick-up truck on fire endangering a nearby garage prompting him to ask to have have Liberty Station 4 dispatched for Engine 737 to protect the nearby exposures. The engine arrived on scene to find a smoldering truck, as the boys from 41 attacked the fire with foam and had it extinguished quickly. Crews were out for about a half hour.
